Agency Bond Curve Update - October 5, 2012
The Farin rates database includes an Indexed Agency Bond curve which represents bond yields across various maturities on agency securities issued by FNMA, FHLMC, and FHLB.
We now have a new source for this index that is more accurate and in line with actual yields on recent issues in the agency bond market. We will be starting to use the new data source for any Indexed Agency Bond curve data that you see dated on or after October 5, 2012.
Because this curve is often used as an investment benchmark or investment alternative curve, you may see some changes to results produced with data after October 5. Profitability results may show changes in investment benchmark spreads and/or market values. This change will have no effect on ROE or ROA profitability measures because those measures do not consider investment alternatives.
If you have any question on how this change may affect your results, please contact your consultant or contact us via the contact links you see in the left menu.

** Farin VPN logon is no longer supported
If you were an iPrice client before 2011, you may have used a different mechanism
to connect to the FARIN network. We've replaced that method, which
was based on a Cisco VPN client and Microsoft's remote RDP software, with a Citrix web-based logon. Your user accounts did not change, just the method you use to
logon. If you have not yet switched to the Citrix method, or if you are using iPrice
from a computer that has not previously been used for iPrice, this document gives you specific instructions on how to download the Citrix receiver and perform the logon.
